不 知道各位有沒發現, 周董在稻香這首MV劇情和它的歌詞配起來還有個很"屌"的隱喻, 就是西洋棋裡叫做"入堡(Castling)"的一個棋著, 歌詞裡提到 "家是唯一的城堡", 配合著MV裡的劇情, "隨著稻香河流繼續奔跑", 感覺就好像是被炒魷魚的爸爸翻山過河, 穿越棋盤式的稻田回到家裡, 好似西洋棋裡國王落難走過兩格棋格而躲進邊陲的城堡,暫時離開王宮,尋找東山再起的機會。
爸爸和老母親在MV最後段好像也一起不知道在下著什麼棋,和西洋棋裡入堡的景況確實有著饒富趣味的連結。
我不知道是不是周董的本意,就直接在這句歌詞前後特別把這"入堡"(Castling)的味道給翻譯出來, 若有誤會還請多多包涵。
[稻 香/Dao Xiang] (Paddy Fragrance/Fragrant Rice) is of my opinion the most beautiful song in Jays new album which titled [Capricorn - Mo Jie Zo 魔杰座] in which its lyric, music, and MV are all seamlessly compiled by Jay Chou himself, supertalented!
I love this song a lot, not only because its heartwarming lyric encourages one who may be at precarious position in such a recessionary period, but also brings me a sense of nostalgia that missed so long. I took some time to translate this lyric into English, wishing someone who may subject to industrial downsizing would find some optimism or at least entertaining.
