彼得前書 2：4主是活石，雖然被人棄絕，卻是神所揀選所珍貴的；你們到他面前來， 5也就像活石，被建造成為靈宮，作聖潔的祭司，藉著耶穌基督獻上蒙神悅納的靈祭。1 Peter 2 : 4As you come to him, the living Stone—rejected by humans but chosen by God and precious to him— 5you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual housea to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. 1 Peter 2 ：4 πρὸς ὃν προσερχόμενοι, λίθον ζῶντα, ὑπὸ ἀνθρώπων μὲν ἀποδεδοκιμασμένον παρὰ δὲ Θεῷ ἐκλεκτὸν ἔντιμον, 5 καὶ αὐτοὶ ὡς λίθοι ζῶντες οἰκοδομεῖσθε οἶκος πνευματικὸς εἰς ἱεράτευμα ἅγιον, ἀνενέγκαι πνευματικὰς θυσίας εὐπροσδέκτους [τῷ] Θεῷ διὰ Ἰησοῦ Χριστοῦ. 1 PET 2 ：4 Dan datanglah kepada-Nya, batu yang hidup itu, yang memang dibuang oleh manusia, tetapi yang dipilih dan dihormat di hadirat Allah. 5 Dan biarlah kamu juga dipergunakan sebagai batu hidup untuk pembangunan suatu rumah rohani, bagi suatu imamat kudus, untuk mempersembahkan persembahan rohani yang karena Yesus Kristus berkenan kepada Allah.
